Have you not read a single thread anywhere? For the 50th time or more explained. The us models do not have a oem unlock toggle. 1 year later and you still haven't properly searched the threads anywhere

Can someone point me in the right direction to root my Korean Galaxy note 20 Ultra 5g?
I keep getting conflicting answers and searching the model number SM-N986N gets me nowhere other than generic non xda articles on "how to root any samsung Galaxy ****"
More specifically I need to unlock the bootloader and Im wondering if this is even possible since its a snapdragon.

I'd say try to connect to wifi, go to software update click it. And then go into developer settings. (Unconfirmed as I'm on a u version)
May need network unlock (atleast my oneplus had the requirment)
After oem is on then go to bootloader
Power of device . Hold power and volume up should boot to download or recovery if in download just reboot via instructions then should be in recovery then go into bootloader and find unlock option

Folks, I contacted several unlockers including the one that post on here and all without exception that have answered to date in past 2 days all say NO CAN DO on snapdragon and verizon USA but seems like every other carrier maybe so. However I may be confused as I mostly ask about carrier unlock but all that I ask about any unlock all answered same thing Not now maybe soon check back.

I found an unlock online for carrier unlock and they had a pick and choose drop menu for carrier. They had TM ATT and UScell etc all listed as they can unlock but NOT Verizon. Says he could not unlock Note 20 U Verizon USA.

Sim unlock is completely different than bootloader unlock which is what this thread is about. If you want to sim unlock your phone just pay it off, simple.

A) can be unlocked on certain bootloader versions and with paid service.
And we cant provide magisk patched as per maintainer request. We can patch them individually with magisk or flash in twrp

Thank you. I have a factory unlocked note20 ultra 5g sm-n986U1 currently using Verizon towers on straighttalk. And have Nov. 2022 update. I have read elsewhere that you can flash an official Ota to go back to out of box firmware. I have rooted every phone I've ever had. All the way back to jedi_mindtrick's day when he was making overstocked speed roms. I can't believe I paid what I did for a flagship phone that samsung won't even unlock.... and now I read that samsung is doing away with the SD card slot beginning with next release of phones.... soooo disappointing. And they forgot my S-pen and saying I have to purchase replacement... when I got frustrated and tried fir the 4th time to explain I never got one the rep hung up on me and put something on my file because I have called back twice and told to purchase replacement. I have owned nothing but samsung galaxy or noyes since galaxy 4 and note 3. Glad to know my loyalty doesn't mean anything.... guess I shouldn't be surprised ... just such a shame.

You are too updated and can't be downgrade to v1 bootloader to use the unlock service.
