If I remember correctly, even the att version has that option. And they lock down their phones tighter than a nuns vagina

Someone with the actual phone needs to hook their phone up to pc, and boot into fastboot and check.
This assumes you have the correct drivers installed and have adb installed...

I'm pretty sure most Samsung phones don't support fastboot. I just spent some time attempting this myself and Fastboot just won't see the phone.

I have a T-mo S7, and I"m using the Android toolkit, and I can ADB but can't fastboot. I didn't think Samsung devices were supported?

Seems to me that fastboot was mainly HTC and LG from my experience, but I could be wrong?
