So many versions

Samsung has seemed to go mad with all the versions of the Tab 2. Is this really necessary?

I guess I bought the least popular T715Y. The end of May has passed and still no MM.

If regions really need specific LTE radios I think it could still be done with 6 versions. All the WiFi only could be the same.

I think Samsung makes a good product (since I keep buying them) but upgrades to the OS, not very good.

Agreed, too many versions, too many variants. A different firmware for each region and variant. Totally unnecessary and wouldn't be if they didn't load their devices with all the unwanted crap.
I have a Tab A 9.7 and it has far less rubbish installed on it which is how it should be and it runs great.

It's usual, nothing new at all, I've been with samsung since 2012 and it's always the same, get used to it. Galaxy S3 took ages for my reagion. Note 4 N910C and tab S2 T810 Still doesn't have 6.0.1 here. It's bad how it works, but it's usual

Been asking myself since the end of may. About to just tell my 715y and get the new one. After getting 6.0 on my note I miss it on my tablet.

As far as I know, the radio won't work for some reason. Kind of an integral part of my tablet haha.

I just want even a kernel that improved performance and battery is all. Then I can use xsposed, if there is one for that device to change anything I need.
