motorola didnt put gestures. it is so unlikely that you have something missing withing your update. if you cant find the option, it means we dont have the option.
system integrity problem ain't a real thing.

Really? One Button Nav on G6 Play? I thought it'd never be implemented.

Edit: I wonder if it's possible to install One Button Nav without having to update, can anyone shine a light?

I got it with March patch. Jeter g6 play. But I imagine the rest will get it too. It's in Moto actions.

Is it possible to update while being rooted in a way it wouldn't require me to format my system? The OTA notifications have stopped now that i froze the Motorola Update Services but now they're glitched (as in they don't open anymore and keep force closing whenever i try to open it(Yes i unfrozen the services)) and i can't even see what update it was. Pretty sure it was march?

To update while rooted, you have to flash the full firmware package. Don't allow it to boot to system. While still in bootloader mode, re flash TWRP. Then boot to TWRP and proceed to root.

After this pie update here in UK , the phone lags a lot , it sucks.
I would suggest that you factory reset your phone manually after the update. There is some kind of bug that retains system files and cache from the previous firmware version, Increasing the size it takes up on your internal storage and drastically reducing the speed and not to mention the countless other bugs that come with pie on the g6. Factory reset after the update works wonders

Thanks mate, if I'll do factory reset I'll loose everything on the phone !! ,I really don't want to loose all my stuff and accounts , unless you can you can suggest something to back it all up and restore them with a push of a button ,that would be great.

Google does most of it, contacts, apps, even photos, and you can try titanium backup. It works and you can restore it on a per app basis or all at once

nav bar pie by sesture

mmm i'm from chile and i don't speak english, but i will tray to make this...

I only can think in one solution, and root it's required with Magisk

https://forum.xda-developers.com/g6-play/how-to/guide-t3929928

... after root, and using Magisk, proceed to flash "Pixelify" mod in downloads option, after reboot, change in Settings->System->Gestures->Swipe up on Home button, for new pie navbar

pd: if you don't like this mod after test, be carefull if you wanna uninstall pixelify, cause if you make this directly on Magisk options, your cell will bootloop, you must reinstall mod, this detect previous install and will proceed to uninstall automatically
