Isn't anyway to upload the update for lion-l29 c432 so we can download it?
You can't update your phone using the OTA firmware that Huawei pushes to devices. For that, you will need a dload firmware, which isn't available atm for our devices. When it will became available on easy-firmware or halabtech, i'm sure that i or someone else will upload it and help other users to update using dload method.

I've seen it, that's because Huawei haven't released yet a dload firmware for our cust. When they will release the firmware, they will upload it. Those 2 sites are my sources for P30&P30 Pro firmwares i share on those forums (i still have my VOG-L29) :), so i will keep an eye and when available, i will create a thread in this forum where i will link the new firmwares i will get.

Silly question here I'm curious if I were to buy one (here in Canada) can I still get updates if my carriers don't carry it and cover it? Or do I need Hisuite to do all my updates? I don't want to be stuck getting a phone that relies on carriers to push updates and that's the only way I can update.

I don't think updates for this device are send by carriers . It's something similar like apple. As soon as they send the OTA it will be available for ur device. Depending on the region ur device is activated it will take few days to get it . Maybe. That's what I think

Update not by Carrier. By Huawei company once your phone has WiFi connection you will get updates. Also as like you said you can use hisuite

It would be great if they lift the license ban it would be great for consumers. Anyone that is smart enough knows all these bans are unnecessary the whole situation is such B.S so frustrating. Because of these bans, Samsung has no competitors and they're milking it hence the pricing for S20 series is ridiculously expensive.

Honestly, I am quite happy with the current situation. I have a free choice of installing google spy services or not.
I can opt "out" just by uninstalling them something you can only do on other phones when your phone is rooted.
Its already enough that my Note 9 is fully loaded with google crap services...
