[SOLA][U][P][S]Android 4.2 Apps

Hi guys, you probably know, that Android 4.2 has been announced just few days ago. I tested some of the leaked apps and they work, so I post it here, so you can easily find it. I have tested all these apps on my Xperia Sola running Cyanogenmod 9.1 (FXP144b) and it works. The camera sometimes freezes but that is the fault of the system and not the app itself. When the camera will be fixed, it will work just fine.


Android 4.2 Apps:
Camera & Gallery: link
Change the following lines in build.prop in order to make photosphere work: ro.product.brand=google ro.product.model=Galaxy Nexus
Then flash in recovery
Keyboard: link
Flash in recovery
Gmail: link
Delete or rename the original Gmail.apk to Gmail.apk1 or something like that and put the new Gmail2.apk in system/app and set permissions to rwxr-xr-

Keyboard works, but swiping works just for English.
Photosphere works just on devices with gyroscope.

I'm using camera & gallery app, everything works except photo editing and photpshpere viewer or whatever that's called but u can take that kinda pics. Also, highest res is 8mpx. I haven't tried keyboard or gmail yet. I'm using stock rom.

Will these apps work on Xperia S?

Gmail will, Camera should, but I do not know about keyboard. Backup your original gmail, keyboard and gallery if you do not want to reflash if you are not successful. The original camera will not get replaced.

Did your edit the build.prop? And what ROM are you using?

Keyboard works on Locked xperia p, and swiping too with french language

and all other can i just manual install with same premmisions as original (except camera i'll edit prop)

Do not rename the gmail2.apk, just put it in here and rename the original gmail.apk to gmail.apk1 or whatever. Then reboot.
I dont know if you can do this with permissions as original....I would set it as usual....RWxR-xR-

EDIT:
I keep getting fc on gmail =\ and i lost the original trying to pull it from nandroid backup hope it works
I doubt FC is from this my device wasn't so stable restoring a backup and trying again

No this lets you capture and view Photo Spheres right on your handset.
Just reflash.
