SkyHigh kernel for P6800 is built from official JB MD3 source, and because i don't have JB, I can only assume that it is OK and chips aren't affected.

There is a app by dev Chainfire to test and be sure.

Tell me if I'm wrong but I think B4R7H's real question was : can he use lagfix (fstrim) with your Skyhigh new kernel version ??? ;)

Please read my reply more carefully....

But you forgot the most important thing he was asking (or wanting to know), can he use it SAFELY ?

I said "'..... I assume that is it OK"..... ;)

Sigh...

I didn't forget anything as I assumed your kernel is SAFE !

So let's try another time : can lagfix/fstrim be SAFELY used and is it compatible with your Skyhigh kernel ??? :D  ;)

Please stop trolling.

1. I have already answered "I assume that is it OK"
2. Given reason behind my conclusion..... it's compiled from official JB source and only "assume" because I can't test and others with (some sort of) JB have confirmed the app working.
3. Given method to check if the kernel is indeed safe.
4. I mentioned I don't have JB, how am I supposed to know of its compatible with every app out there? :banghead:

mersi agha mohsen,
thanx bro, i didnt bricked, but i doesnt change any thing,
Have you rebooted ??? ^^

Then, this may not be instantaneous... Wait awhile...

Read carefully the description BTW...

- "LagFix DOES NOT HANG! Trimming process might take many minutes! Like five or ten. Don' panic, make some tea and wait."

- "It is also advised to reboot your device after the TRIM process so that kernel could reinitialize block data."

- How full your storage is ? etcetera...

I'll test it myself, but latter on... :D

i reboot my tab manually, its just take a few seconds, 2or 3,
my storage is about 3GB full and the rest is free about 10GB.

Fine.

Then do another benchmark and if that's still doesn't change anything, then this tool is probably useless in term of performance but your internal "SSD" is maybe safer and will maybe protected on the long term... ^^

If you don't think it is or if you think it is useless, just uninstall it then... :p

The app isn't useless, the trim bug is somthing acknowledged by Google Android and fixed in version 4.3.
the benchmarks are in the link in OP shows the memory related IO operations are enhanced.

and finally you don't have to reboot after using the application, this is just for old devices.

watch this video, it's very educative actually.

so, all good for you, do you feel the tablet more snappier than before?

and we need someone to benchmark his tablet before first time to use and after first time to use.
via Standard Quadrant benchmark

Currently I score about 4600 after using it, can anyone else benchmark his tablet before using it?

I trimm one time per day and nothing bricked. If i dont trimm for 2 weeks, i see it first on keyboard when writing.
. Type a button, then it takes a little bit before it accept the type on the screen.
