Thanks. I'm not sure I like it as I got used to the other one. Ok, I just typed that sloppy and I'm sold. Corrected it all.

Sorry, nothing to see here.

I can't get the apk to install once I've moved it into the system/app folder. I stopped and cleared data on the old keyboard prior and renamed the old apk first so I had a backup of it. When I try to install the new one from the app folder I receive a Application not installed message.

Don't install. Delete old one. Put in this new one. Change permissions to rw-r-r and reboot. That's it.

I'll give it a shot.

Edit: Thanks, that works for auto correct. What I don't see an option for is the ability to select and enter unrecognized words like with my previous Galaxy S3.

Could anyone confirm this as working? I tried it and the keyboard loads but doesnt autocorrect. It works exactly like the stock keyboard where it shows the corrected spelling above but doesnt enter the corrected word. I'm running the rooted stock rom. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Did you also rename or delete the SamsungIME.odex file? I just renamed the original files to

SamsungIME.apk.bak
SamsungIME.odex.bak

and left in place. It works but The issue with not being able to add words to the dictionary makes this MOD useless. I am still using a 3rd party keybaord until it is possible to add words to the user dictionary. I have even added the words to the user dictionary manually but they still are corrected. Apperently the stock keyboard doesn't use the stock dictionary.....dumb.

Awesome. Removing that odex did the trick and fixed it. You're totally right about the dictionary thing too. That sucks.
Thanks!

Interesting, the words I add to the dictionary manually get recognized by this auto correct keyboard.

Well I haven't tried all words but only made up words that wouldn't be recognized under any conditions except if I added them to the dictionary for example doin' or goin'
