(solved) Easiest way to make a vmdk for VB from an ISO?

I see a lot of technical discussions and instructions scattered about. Was wondering if someone could streamline the instructions on how to create a vmdk file (ala this post) from a RemixOS ISO for VirtualBox.

** EDIT ** Well, after hours and hours of searching and reading, I found out that after installing Remix OS to the USB stick with the included program in the zip file (for Windows), you then have to boot into a Linux OS, create a raw image of the USB, then convert that raw image to a VDI or VMDK.

Which I did and works perfectly. If anyone would like detailed instructions, feel free to reply below and I'll write them up.

Guide for setting up a vmdk or a vdi file

Have a look at post "Installation of Remix OS on Hard Disk or within a Virtual Machine". The first step has to be the formatting of the virtual disk. You can use the built in tool cfdisk, or you can use e.g. PartedMagic (what I am preferring).
