I received a totally stock G4+ 16Gb 2Go XT1642.
The version of installed rom is 8.1.0 OPJ28.111-22
security patch 1/12/2018
baseband M8952_70030.25.03.77R ATHENE_EMEA_DSDS_CUST
kernel 3.10.84-g4bcbf43
I owned a E2015 with custom roms but since 4 years I forgot all steps to achieve root etc.
I read that there's a risk to brick the phone or loose imei.
So could you redirect me to simple explanation to get root and other steps without screwing up the device
what I would like:
unlock bootloader and delete message
install twrp
make a backup of stock rom (and imei infos)
root (with magisk)
make a backup of rooted stock rom
install custom rom (preferably with working led), 32 or 64bits?
Could somebody take a few minutes to guide me???
