[SOLVED]How can I make my root explorer transparent?

What you have to do is..........change windowShowWallpaper under Theme.Holo to true and add the child element item windowBackground @color/transparent.........within the framework-res.apk of ICS CM9 Beta 0
Hope this is educational for those of that are interested.

To make the text more legible; just darken the transparency like this.....#80000000 in the color.xml

You should post your transparent root explorer apk in the apps section. I, along with others will appreciate it alot

it's not the apk itself it's the framework-res.apk I modded so that any app that pulls from the background_holo_dark image becomes transparent, you see, it has to be done this way because rootexplorer is password protected when it's signed; it being a paid apk; so any modifications to it will cause it to break. Also we're not allowed to post paid apps on these forums.

If I add the app to system/app won't it kind of bypass the modification protection

It won't work because rootexplorer is pass protected and any modding will break it
