It's normal after oeminfo changing.
If you have followed this guide to the letter it should work bro...
for example
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/oeminfo-twrp-backup-collection.3762385/post-83869497
Okay, check in fastboot again
fastboot oem get-build-number
fastboot oem oeminforead-SYS EM_VERSION
C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot oem get-build-number
...
(bootloader) :System 8.0.0.046(070F)
OKAY [ 0.023s]
finished. total time: 0.023s

C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot oem oeminforead-SYS EM_VERSION
...
FAILED (remote: The reason of failed input oem_nv_item error!)
finished. total time: 0.014s

Yes? And what else did you do that wasn't necessary? :)
There is another way to get your phone back, but I think there's no point in continuing if you change the instructions to your liking...
hey hey dont let me hang!

the oem file was not visible to flash! i thought it had to be an img file.

Okay , Chapter 2.
1. Unlock the bootoader again
2. google how "HuRupdater" is used
3. Download HuRUpdater.zip http://www.mediafire.com/file/r14sor2g4cbugzw/HuRUpdater_0.4.zip
4. Flash the same TWRP 3.2.1.0 by pretoriano80, run command:
fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk etc. (not over eRecovery!)
5. Download 3 .zip files
(for dual SIM !)

https://mega.nz/file/Esd2iLbI#ohL04KwVpMX5-c27stk4vvmsMph_GAgbc1aHCLx-hyo

6. Create a new folder , put the ANE-LX1C432 firmware (3 files) and HuRUpdater-0.4.zip at that folder. Copy this new folder to SD card.
7. In TWRP flash the folder (tap on HuRupdater_0.4.zip and swipe).
8. Follow instruction on the screen.
9. Factory reset in stock recovery.

Hi guys,

i recently bought a Huawei P20 Lite on ebay. The device they send me has the System Firmware with the Build Number Build 0.0.0.046(070F). Since we all know that the p20 lite supports EMUI 9.1 i wanted to update the Firmware via system update. But no updates available. HiSuite also sais its allready up to date. Latest security patch is March 2018...
I reached out to the official Huawei support and they said to me:

"I have forwarded your ticket with case number SR3202108251214229RK to the specialist department and have already received feedback. Unfortunately, it is not possible for us to send you a software update as a push notification because your device 8.0.0.046(070F) has undergone a software manipulation. The P20 Lite has a custom ROM installed, so unfortunately you will not receive any support, not even from the French support team. I strongly advise you to use your right of withdrawal while you still have time to do so. Unfortunately, I cannot tell you if this is an isolated case with this retailer, but I would not recommend another purchase. "

My Question is: How can i change the Firmware to an official build to get Android 9 on the device.

Things i tried so far:

- Dload method didn't work. "Installation failed"
- HiSuite "allready up to date"
- erecovery doesnt find any official builds to install.

Is it possible to flash an official Firmware via Huawei Multi Download Software? Do i need an unlocked bootloader?
If i go in Bootloader screen it says "Phone locked"

Please help me otherwise i'll send this phone back...

Additional information:

Manufacture information: ANE_LX1_VF
Bootloader Version: Chipset-dallas8.0.0.046(070F)_FASTBOOT
Kernel Version: System 8.0.0.046(070F)_BOOT

Vendor:hw
Country:normal
Hello guys, I also have encountered the same problem. When I try to install updates using eRecovery, it gives me a message saying my device is incompatible. And, another thing I noticed is that all the time I try to update manually on the settings app, it gives me a message saying my device is rooted. Note I have never rooted my device.

Please help me guys, I've been trying to update my device to emui 9.1.
The build number is 8.0.0.046(09DF)
the model is ANE-LX2

ps im new to this
