Hey everyone , since two days ago when i flashed a New rom , my phone battery % is wrong for exemple it says I have 75% and 1o minutes after it's bootlooping until I plugg the charger , , even while plugging and charging at 25w(I have a cable with watt display) on the phone I'm never gaining percentage but losing some. Until it hits zero then it reboot then it shows 75 again.

I tried clean flashing to new rom , flashing new kernel , total format and wiping all data , and changing TWRP versions , nothing resolve it , I'm a noob and that's the best I could try please help 🥲

I remember this sw trick with the app NoAd Battery Calibrator. It is available on the f-droid store.
If ii will fail, i think it is time to replace the battery.
Thanks for the idea but Welllll no difference ... Instructions says to go to 100% I can't even do that , even tho I charged it "fully" and did it , but it change nothing , I really don't think it's physical , the battery was fine just two days ago :'(

Hi,
I assume that your battery was fine before flashing the custom rom:unsure:,

have you tried a Xiaomi.eu (Fastboot) rom, i use this rom when things go a bit strange.

When installing custom roms from twrp recovery i "Format Data" before installing the new rom and reboot back into twrp, i then install the rom and after competition "Format data" again.

I`ve had issues when switching between roms and using "Format Data" in TWRP and having left over residue from the previous rom that caused me issues.

I`m assuming you have returned to a stock miui rom and you are using the correct firmware for your region:unsure:

My F3 was brought from the UK and had EEA firmware installed as stock, have you tried a earlier version of a Miui rom for your region.

I have installed 40-50 customs roms on my F3 and never had any battery issues.

I use this rom to fix my F3 when things go a bit strange and Miui is not installing correctly: xiaomi.eu_multi_HMK40_POCOF3_21.12.8_v12-12-fastboot.zip,
once completed i update to the latest version of a Miui Fastboot rom using the "No MIFLASH" method and a PC.

Really interesting ! I tried one global MIUI 14 and one EU (my phone is EU) , I'll try the older version of EU and others then update them like you said , thanks for your time I appreciate it , I'll keep you updated

The Xiaomi.eu Fastboot rom is the "Fix my F3 solution" as i have faced a few Miui firmware not completing errors and a .EU rom has always restored my F3 back to almost stock, as long as you have Fasttboot then there is a good chance you can fix most issue with the F3.

When you say fastboot you mean going. To fastboot , boot to TWRP then flash rom right ? Or directly in fastboot with command ?

What i do is, i put my F3 into fastboot mode "Vol- + Pwr button" plug my F3 into my PC, run "Temporary Recovery" and select 1 "TWRP",
i gave up with Fastboot commands and put together the "Standalone Recovery" files to make it easier to restore recovery when switching roms,

TIP: Always remember to "Flash Current TWRP" from the Advanced menu when installing a new rom before restarting TWRP other wise you will loose TWRP Recovery and you have to use the PC Method above.

good news !!! i was on the way to do exacly what you Ask , but before thats i did something that worked ! after rebooting a couple of times using TWRP because I was flashing current TWRP after I erased all data and formated all , so I reboot to recovery but I was on 1% when doing that

when I tried to reboot it blinked the logo battery totally discharge , so I plugged in the charger , (even tho I knew the battery was near full charge in reality) , after a couple of minutes nothing it stayed blinking like it was never charged for months , so I gave up basically , and something told me to leave it like that for 6 hours (yeah I gave up) when still plugged in and clicking on the button it was still the same ...

but ! when I unplugged it it went to recovery , (cause no rom right now) it showed one percent , I still forced it to reboot one more time to recovery out of hope with buttons, THEN BOOM 100% , I'm so lucky , I'm gonna be discharging it fully then charging it to see if it's stable , I installed crdroid after that it's working perfectly so fare even with multiple reboot, thanks again for the help guys ;)

edit:

After two full cycle its working perfectly son far so problem solved !
