Hey guys,

When I try to update OTA on my Nexus S 3G (GSM/UMTS), it downloads just fine, but when it tries to install, the progress bar loads a little, like 1/8, then the icon in the middle a box and arrow beside an Android to an Android and an exclamation mark! Then I have to take out the battery to do ANYTHING. I've tried every kind version of the official update, manual update, changing file names, un-rooting then re-rooting, and NOTHING WORKS!!! If I do a manual update it gives me an error like

assert failed:file_getprop("/system/build.prop", "ro.build.fingerprint") == "verion/voles/sholes/sholes:2.0.1/ESD56/20996:user/release-keys" ll file_getprop("/syste,/build.prop", "ro.build fingerprint") == verizon/voles/sholes/sholes:2.1-update1/ESE81/29593:user/release-keys"E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip(Status 7) Installation aborted:confused:

OR

apply_patch_check install ("MTD:radio:...(I don't remember the rest, it's just a bunch of numbers:eek:)

As far as i know you'll need to completely return to Stock for an OTA to work. Both ROM and Recovery will need to be vanilla.
