hello All,

i have nearly tried all solutions to resolve this issue

i have used stock 4.3 rom on Sammobile with these numbers
PDA: N7100XXUENA1

and no luck.

I have tried DN3 v3.1 and Phoneix 16.0 both with patched kernel and modem from OP but also no luck.

I always have wifi working but no network signal with mj5, mk9, mk1 modems

last thing i tried was phoneix16.0 (it has ML3 kernel and MK1 modem) but also with no luck

I have also tried Agni kernel with phoneix and nothing changed.

I am very desperate and I tried everything with no specific sort and i end up with same result "Not registered on network"

any help or other ideas?

The easy way: Use odin and flash mj5 bootloader, install lastest TWRP recovery, install DN3 4.4.2 rom and install any patched modem, your problem must be solved. If not, your IMEI is blocked/blacklisted/negative band and was no way to register on network. Regards.

So far I know, if he was on stock 4.3 he also is on MK9 Bootloader. So he can't flash the MJ5. The newer Bootloader don't allow a downgrade.

There is no way to downgrade bootloader. I am on same situation.

hey guys, i got it all working by following jhonyp's suggestions.

1. Installed DN3 3.2 rom
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Flashed init.d script
4. Flashed patched modem (mk1 modem)
5. Flashed Agni Kernel (take note, use the Agni Kernel for "STOCK")

but got a problem recently,,, my phone suddenly goes "emergency calls only/no network", my solution is rebooting the phone or turning airplane mode on then off. It's getting into my nerves! very annoying specially when you're expecting a call from someone.

Sir Jhonyp my friend, do you have a solution for this?

the problem started on upgrading to 4.3

i tried many steps given in this forum .

my 3g is working but wifi is not when i am using

• MJ9 Modem
• Patched MK4 Kernel

vice versa when i am using

• MJ9 Model
• Pathced MK9 Kernel

as a work around, since i only use wifi for some minutes, i am using mobile odin to flashed kernel depending on what function i wanted.
but this procedure requires my phone to restart. to revert, i reflashed again.

I hope someone finds another way where both is running.

Finally fixed

Initial status : dlk6 base and dll4 modem not sure running 4.1.2 but knox enabled , got it from Samsung after sds issue. Flashed 4.3 xperia rom without any backups,Then started the problem. imei and s/n are correct but "network not registered".

Flashed stock dmg1 via odin , failed at sboot and odin failed.

Then i connected to kies for emergency recovery. no devices are shown.

Then i manually entered imei and s/n from back of the device in Kies firmware upgrade feature. Naturally kies updated it with mk4 bootloader 4.3 stock. Yet the "network not registered" problem dint go away.

no matter what firmware i flash via recovery the problem persisted. tried hurricane's modem changer . but nothing worked

Finally, found this solution flashed patched mk4 kernel and mj9 patched modem. but then wifi doesnt work with patched kernel probably because kernel was mk4 and firmware base of xperia rom was na1 i guess. but worked fine with paranoid asop with patched mj9 modem and plasma 2.02 kernel. but i wanted 4.3.

so i again flashed Dr.ketan 4.3 rom (mk4 base ) and flashed patched mj9 and mk4 kernel. Finally everything looks good now.

Please patch more kernels and modems .
I suppose i can use only MK4 based firmwares here on. Am i right?.. i.e. either mk4 ketans rom or dn3 3.1.1 mk4 or mk4 criskellos rom. thats it ?.. press thanks for typing this big story



btw I want Xperiaz1ised Rom but can anyone tell me if i can get it working?..i dont see patched NA1 kernel

Flash script init.d, patched modem (MJ9 or MJ5), reboot, and then flash Agni kernel. Hoorayyyyy.

You need use patch modem tool but you can flash another patched modem.

Will this n1700 modem and kernel work on att galaxy note 2 so that I will not get the emergency calls or is this just for the international version. If there is a version for att please give me the complete instructions on how to complete this. I am constantly loosing signal and can't make calls

Make nandroid backup and try if not work just restore nandroid
