(Solved) Tutorial How do we re-lock& re-unlock to upgrade to 1.85.....

Hi just wondering for those who successfully upgrade from either 1.73 or 1.82 to 1.85 with rooted>unlocked BL before....would you mind sharing tutorial how to relock>Re-unlock...? seen alot of confusing over thread.... or mabe i 'm the one get confused ...... step by step would be nice or maybe someone will come up with ONE CLICK RE-LOCK and RE-UNLOCK would be better.... hoping Kpenn or Designgears..... THANKS IN ADV

OK HERE'S what i found to get it work after several time ....
1.Relock....fastboot oem lock
2.Run 1.85 RUU
3.unlocking bootloader with the same unlock_code.bin that u got for the first time u are unlocked from previous base u might have to try several time....seem like different people is different.....mine is more than 10 attempt....but finally i'm about to go sleep run it the comman prompt again.....fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin that u place in the same folder as ur adb and fastboot.exe etc this is the key i believe.....right after say yes or no to unlock with lock logo with bla....bla....may void ur warranty ...UNPLUG YOUR USB FIRST AND THEN CLICK YES that would power your phone off......HOLD POWER+VOL DOWN and when u see light flashing release power while still holding vol down....to go to bootloader
and WALLA....ENJOY UR UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER....
4.use install recovery one click tool from the thread
5.go to recovery flash SuperSU( must be inside sdcard before u do all those step)
6.ENJOY....and U know what to do the rest......

so let say i'm re-lock...run 1.85 RUU ....go to htcdev to re-unlock right and under all other device ...in the end asking token to unlock...? how i get that again...? i'm lost and maybe to tired coz lack of sleep....... gonna get away for awhile first i guess....:

If you still have the Unlock_code.bin you shouldn't have to go through htcdev again to unlock after you upgrade, as the upgrade doesn't change your unlock token.

If you have the adb.exe AdbWinApi.dll fastboot.exe and Unlock_code.bin I can easily walk you through steps to relock your bootloader, upgrade to 1.85, and unlock your bootloader again

I have all those files you mentioned, could you tell me what to do once I relocked and updated to 1.85? How do unlock again without HTCDev?

Pretty much the same way you relocked. Boot into the bootloader, go to fastboot then plug in your device. Now open a command prompt and cd to the directory you have the Unlock_code.bin and type: fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

It worked for me on the first try but I've heard reports of it taking 2-3 tries after upgrading to 1.85

Nevermind I'm a dumba$$ just needed to install CWM and flash with nocturnal rom

OP Updated.....FINALLY UNLOCKED....time to flash custom ROM
