[SOLVED] Updating X2 ROM - latest available software installed problem on SEUS

Hi everybody, just bought on ebay an X2 and I am trying to update it to the new ROM.
Here it is what device information sais:

Software ID: 1230-2799
Software version: R1BA023
Customization ID: 1231-4909
Customization version: R18A
Language region: GENERIC_UK
Content version: PA2
Software language: ENGLISH (UNITED STATES)

The phone is really slow and I assume it should be updated to R3A firmware cause I see "software version: R1BA023".
When I connect the phone to SEUS it says that there are no sw updates and I HAVE NO POSSIBILITY TO UPDATE ANYWAY cause there is only the EXIT BUTTON.

This prevent me to follow also the steps described in the thread: [TESTED 100% WORKING] Quickest way to get MR2 for those of you who can't get it!

I also tried to reset sofware and, after aligning the screen I have removed the battery befor customization process started, after it I installed all cabs found in the thread: NEW ORIGINAL X2 ROMS + Extracted CABs update 14.6.2010
I used "X2 GENERIC_IT R3AA035 CABS" cause I would like to switch to Italian.

After resetting the phone I started SEUS but it always says that I have the latest software and there is no need to update (it shows me only the exit button).

Pleas help me I am going crazy, I have read all the threads, what am I missing?

Come on guys, someone should know if it is possible to edit registry in order to trick SEUS and install MR2.

there is a post how to do this on this forum but cant remember where and dont have time bnow
but i do remember u need to delete some files from ur pc or xperia

Do you refer to the procedure written in the post [TESTED 100% WORKING] Quickest way to get MR2 for those of you who can't get it?
If so I have already tried, I have read through all threads but nothing...

There is no way to update it but:

I downloaded R3A rom with all its cabs;

downloaded R1B rom with all its cabs;

put them on sd;

installed the following cabs from R3A as specified in "Want a fix for the X2? Only us can do it":

Then I installed, from R1B ROM, these cabs (those ones from R3A were not working), for thei right name refer to the oversaid topic:Autolock

Then I enabled autorotation editing registry (see topic: [Solution] Another tip to make your Xperia X2 lightspeed fast and stable!!) and enabled it for TomTom and Opera Mini
as said from WINE GLASS:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\MultiService\mods\Rota tion
Change 'AccelBasedRotationEnabled' DWORD Data to 1

Now you will have autorotate with a few apps. Slideview, panel manager, sms/mms, internet explorer.
To get it working with other things you have to add a few more keys.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\MultiService\mods\Rotation\AADRClients
make new keys for required apps.
new string value in each, named 'ModuleFileName'
Enter programs exe path.
Examples,
Program Files\Resco Photo Manager\PhotoMan.exe
Program Files\SPB Time\SpbTime.exe
Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell\MobileShell.exe
Program Files\Resco Explorer\Explorer.exe

Soft Reset and you are done.

Then I installed SPB MOBILE SHELL (the latest availeble from their website).
The phone runs good and seems stable.
