Some 16/9 applications, notably games, are not centered

They are aligned with the left side of the screen. There is a single black bar on the right side...

Anyone knows of a way to force the scaling of applications that do not fully support 18/9 screens on the XZ2 compact, or at least center it so there are black bars on both sides of the app?
