Hi, i have some questions about HDMI before making my purchase, since i never used HDMI or touched a HDMI cable before so i don't know anything about this :D, i only know that it basically "bring" the exact same thing happening on the tablet to another device (usually TV 'cause we want big screen), but here are my questions:

1. what hdmi cable do i need to buy, i heard there are many types of hdmi cable like mini hdmi, micro hdmi and hdmi,... so which one do i need to buy? and how do i know what type of hdmi does my TV use so i can buy the right one? (i know my TV has a hdmi "thing" but i don't even know where and what it is)
2. does this tablet really "bring" the *exact* whatever i'm seeing on my tablet to the TV, are there any lags or issues?
3. does it drain the tablet's battery when connected to TV, i think you can turn off the display on the tablet, so it shouldn't drain too much battery, right? if so can the battery last longer when connected to TV than using it regularly? if it does drain battery, do i need to plug the tablet to power to charge it (to give it power) while connected to TV?

thanks in advance, i know i asked a lot :D

You will need an micro HDMI to HDMI kable or an adapter.

ATTENTION not an mini HDMI.
I accidenticly bought an mini HDMi cable so watch out if it is an mini or an micro HDMI.

2. does this tablet really "bring" the *exact* whatever i'm seeing on my tablet to the TV, are there any lags or issues?
I first had the issue, that i also displayed the navigiation bar on the screen. So this is an 16:10 on an 16:9 Screen. When you go to settings there should be an Option for HDMI. To set the screen to 16:9 you just play with the 3d settings.

That way it worked for me and the statusbar

At the moment you can't turn off the Display while its connected to the TV.
But you don't need to charge it while its connected.

I always charged it while its connected, so I can't tell you much about the drain of the battery.

1. If you're looking for a cable, check monoprice. I got a 15ft one for like $7.
2. It's mirroring, meaning yes, the exact thing.
3. The battery drain is little to nothing. I used it to watch a couple movies, streaming and nonstreaming, play games....it all came out to the same battery drain as using it normally. Maybe a little bit more, but not a significant amount.
