William84:
You are getting things wrong, I tried to find what op says, in my first post here, I clearly stated that my device has no issues as op found in his device, so, read the ENTIRE post before replying

OP clearly stated in first post his findings and asked for feedback if other users had the same. Investigating a might-be 'known issue'.

Your first comment was someone quoting who questioned OPs place of purchase and who even suggested it looked fake.
How is your 'Yes indeed' and 'adding to the matter' contributing to OP?

If someone needs to read my friend, it's you.

So far I've checked over 20 devices at work with the same thing. I personally still don't see anything wrong with it, however I do understand that it might bother some people. My best advice is to call Samsung and see what they say.
I totally agree with you. But without feedback from people and the community. Companies will fail to resolve the issue and play the dumb card "where is it" "I don't see it" or "yes that's perfectly normal" We don't know what that white line is, if it is adhesive why is that color and not black. It's when people like us get together and help each other in the community and forums that we can get the movement going. So that the people that does bother can get them changed.

As I do not doubt that op might have an issue, I do not have to provide NOTHING, given the fact that I do not have any issue, my device has no flaw/defect or anything, period.
Exactly, what I thought you would reply. Not providing a photo, because you know that yours has that issue too. That proves it.

This is coming from someone who thinks that the Note 10+ is fake, if you cannot tell a real Note 10+ from a fake one, you should not comment at all! and embarrassing other fellow members on here that help the community with your useless comments .

I'm almost 99% sure that it's part of aluminum casing of the phone.

Maybe could be. I do not think its adhesive though, cause the adhesive that Samsung usually use and other companies are usually black. So my guess is probably the plastic part where the glass sits on, some kind of line. Some part probably of the frame.

Also, no gap here. Rocking a Sprint SM-N975U.
I purchased mine off of FaceBook Marketplace sealed up brand new.
Very interesting post and pictures.
Thanks for your input, I am guessing it's a batch issue. Like I stated earlier, depending on the carrier or from Samsung directly.

I have the feeling a heated discussion may start here, please keep in mind that you all need to stay civil as per the forum rules. I did no post cleanup because that wasn't needed but I will monitor this thread.
With or without pictures, I hope you will all find a way to help the OP with your comments and I hope the OP will accept feedback from all.

If one can post pictures to prove things, please do so, it doesn't cost anything.
If one posts feedback without proof, please don't be upset.

Thank you.

After doing a bit of digging it seems every phone is different I took a look at some s10+ and the gap is still present some worse than others. I wouldn't say it's a deal breaker, but whoever is experiencing this issue I recommend them to do a barometer test to see if the phone is still IP68. Open dialer *#0*# go to sensor and press hard on the phone. If the value goes up then down then it's fine.

Thanks I'll give it a try, the gap is not so much of a big deal, the annoying thing is that ugly white line that shows between the gap. Little gap almost all phones have my old Pixel XL 2 has 0 gap. Sits flush to the metal. It could also be maybe the top frame on top is not properly bent at the edge of the metal towards inwards the lip so it closes the gap and so we don't see that white line. I'm gonna see if I can get also some feedback from Samsung. But usually when I call them up, they make excuses. The funny thing here is the bottom gap does not suffer this issue and the gap is basically the same. I'm trying to figure out what that white line is between the gap, does not look like adhesive.

My Note 10+ 512 GB aura black bought in Denmark a week or so after release-date doesn't have any issues what so ever... I have closely inspected in bright light and I can only conclude that it's hard to think that two different materials can come together more beautifully...

We need photos for reference so that people who have issues can show them to the carrier and Samsung so they can see that it's not suppose to be there, we need more photos on here. With and without the issue. So they can replace our units

Jah's making me crazy
Think mines got the "issue" too. To be honest I had to squint like a c### to see it and under strong light too.

I'll have a look in the office tomorrow under their super artificial lights

And to be fair, I'm not minded to return it lol

I have a gap that I can put a piece of paper through a little bit, and I can see a bit of dust build up, there is also a gap between the back of the phone and frame as well
