Tried using navigation. With 2 different sensation phones. 1 stock, 1 rooted with revolution rom. I bet it has to do with the Google Maps app. It's been doing nothing but crashing (rebooting). Is this happening to anyone else?

No. No one else.

You are the only one.

I mean other than the 10,000,000 other people who have had the problems with Google Maps since it's most recent update was pushed with some major bugs that cause exactly the problems you are experiencing. Those bugs have been well documented and have been discussed in multiple threads in this forum as well at just about every feedback left on the Play Store for the past week specific to this exact problem.

But other than those millions upon millions of people, you are the only one with these problems.

Dude, you've just written down what I've been suspecting about Google Maps for some days now. Mine crashes too, not every day and every time, but when it does it keeps doing it. Restarting doesn't help, restarting after battery yanked out doesn't help, will crash and reboot 5-10 secs after starting Maps, and this'll go on for some time until I decide not to us GMaps anymore. So I'm gonna try with satellite settings turned off, anybody better idea?
(I'm rooted on ARHD-6.7.2 XE, OTA'd at 1.27.0000)

Likewise.... I have the original HTC sensation and just this week google navigation has been causeing the phone to reboot (within 30 seconds).

Very frustratiting ==> I did a full reset of my phone today and it is still happening.

Apparently is an issue with Sensation 4G and the Resound

I think this is just more than a Google Maps issue. I have 2 phones 1 with Elegancia Sense 4 v2.7.0 and one ARHD and the Elegancia has no issue. since the update of maps i have never had 1 problem and never had to reinstall or uninstall, ARHD however was so damaged by the update i had to remove it and patch the older version....

this may be a Dev+Google Maps issue.

I've never had a single problem using Google maps. Just used it the entire time on a drive from Hilton Head to DC aka 9 hours. Nav worked perfectly on CM10

Google Vs. HTC

Just a hunch but I don't think this is going to get fixed anytime soon. The problem seems limited to HTC phones (specifically the Sensation and Rezound). I suspect Google will blame HTC and HTC will either blame Google or more likely since the phone is EOL, simply ignore the issue.:(

This should make you happier: http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-4703
"HTC is currently working with Google to investigate this issue. HTC is confident that a solution will be available in the future."

FYI Elegancia uses some files from 3.32 base (to make the tweaks work properly instead of porting them) and it appears this issue is with the 3.33 bases
