FYI My experience...

I had an x10 mini pro before i saw sense (no pun intended) and got a DHD, the liveview was ok with the SE unless I wanted to actually use it with sportypal which would result in frequent crashes and refusal to reconnect which made it pretty useless!

I've updated the liveview app as well as the unit but i can't get it to stay connected for more that 5 minutes :-( which is a shame when trying to show it off.

Shame as it seems to have a lot of potential.

Just updated the app and the liveview again today and so far it seems useable! Reconnects first time if it loses sync and the sportypal plugin works as it should. Almost impressed with it.

It works great on gingerbread roms like coredroid 4.7 and leedroids beta Rom and yes these are sense roms. It appears that gingerbread could resolve all our issues. With these roms the device has stayed paired all day

Does anyone have a properly working DHD/LiveView combination? Mine suffers from constant disconnections with GB 2.3.3.

I've heard that HTC use their own bluetooth stack, so maybe it would work better with CM or some other AOSP rom. Has anyone tried?

I just ordered mine for my DHD on amazon.de for 16€ (figured it is cheap enough that it does not matter if it works properly or not).
At the moment i am running PACman v18., i am ready to go back to JellyBean as soon as BT issues with speakerphone are solved, and i think codefireX looks quite interesting with 4.2 and all (maybe i am already a flashaholic?).
I can let you know my expierences, if anyone is still interested?
