The HTC One reviews are coming in and I am not that impressed. The Galaxy S IV clearly isn't gonna cut it if you want a major change from the plasticky build and oversaturated AMOLED screen. LG devices are super boring. That leaves Sony. We know you have IPS screens and can make them. We know you put them on your Japanese variant of the Xperia Z. Your phones have a history of terrible viewing angles with failing contrast and colors just from the slightest tilt and the black levels are horrible. We do know, however, that you can solve all these problems and give pepole who have taken the great IPS displays on phones like the iPhone, One X, and Optimus G for granted a reason to switch over. It's not too late. Companies switch panels all the time. Apparently early adopters are diehard Sony fans who don't care about image quality, but if you want to break beyond the niche and into the mainstream to play with the big boys, you need to step it up.
