There is no update to jelly bean for the tablet s
if its not giving you the option to update in setting then your at the peak of what is available for the tablet you will get a few websites saying that there is a jelly bean update but this information is false and you will brick your tablet trying to flash j.b to the tablet
You can use the a.i.o. tool to root and update the OEM APPS
If you do root apply the rescue backdoor so you can recover if things go wrong
Reading is your best tool read everything before you do anything then read it again the first two tabs from sony are notoriously hard to recover from soft brick
Im not goingto go in to what you need to do thats up to you to read the various threads on the fourm in relation to your tablet
After rooting you will be able to use xposed modules and the likes of gravity box to mod your system again its up to you what you do to the tablet and that you understand the risks involved
