It is possible that by selecting an option from a "preference list" of class " classprove extends PreferenceActivity " automatically change the text of a TextView declared into "class SmartWatch2ClockWidget" to show the clock.

So you've done this with tasker?

The TextView does not update when you select an item from list of preferences, to update the TextView use method do onStartRefresh.
