In the play store it says WiFi ready. It's NOT the same as WiFi build-in.
WiFi Ready means the ethernet port is ready but you have to bug a wireless adapter and plug-in it if you want to go wireless.
Besides on android wear side, it doesn't support wifi.
So we can just forget WiFi connection with SW3 :( It won't happen.

just to add to the discussion, the white paper states that it is "wi-fi enabled"
