Sony sw2 dead after 3 days

So believe it or not guys after the issues I had with my watch it seems my problems are not over. As of yet I am still to receive my watch back from Sony repair centre (SBE) and just keep getting fobbed off with being passed from department to department. I sent it off 7 weeks ago. The repair centre lost it then found it the refused to fix it. Then sony told them to fix it. And now I'm just fed up with the whole thing. Has anybody else had any issues like this with Sony or SBE regarding there watch.

Not my watch, but thats Sony so called support in a nutshell.

I have 6 Sony accounts relating to my Xperia's, games, phone, music unlimited, sony entertainment, sony ultraviolet blah blah, they dont even know themselves who supports what!

Love the products, but support is abismal.

I've just ended up reporting them to trading standards in the UK, as their incompetence with support is unacceptable to me, when I pay so much for their products.

Its certainly ruins the experience compared to apple just replacing the faulty item with an apology.....

Agreed love the products are great I'm just really annoyed with the after care may also look at taking it further if this is not resolved soon. Cheers for the input.


And as if by magic my watch came back in the post this morning happy days. Only thing I'm not to happy with is it came back with the straps not connected. O well.

After the upgrade with sony update service my 2 days old sw2 went in charging mode and diden't work.
I had uninstall the software and reeinstall it.
I have made the reinstalling upgrade.
So after few minutes in charging mode it restart and now it's ok.
I'm so lucky.

Hi, i just read all your threads, I have a problem with my watch, I broke the screen and I cant find the replacement, if you have a unusable sw2 maybe you can sell me the part that I need, please PM with any response, thanks

what I have found is if the battery runs right down to zero then the watch becomes completely unresponsive for about 5mins on the charger, after that is vibrates and the charging indicator lights up on the screen

Sony SW2 brand new doesn't hold charge

I have an SW2 Sony Watch that was purchased about 7 months ago when I had my Sony Xperia Z Ultra Purple. The Watch has never been used until Halloween of 2015.
I didn't use it because my Xperia Smartphone broke in less than 7 months of Ownership. Sony didn't fix the Phone or replace it because they said I was to rough with it. And the Phone never left my Desk and just sat there daily and was only used indoors in my Office Space.
Now my Watch the SW2. It doesn't hold a charge and only lights up and powers on when attached to the Charger. And Sony Customer Service offers no help and told me to buy a new Sony Watch. Are you kidding. Sony has horrible Quality Products and terrible Customer Service. I will never buy another Sony Product.
In fact I now wear the Samsung Gear Watch. Its awesome!!

So had my watch 3 days and it's dead won't turn on just starts with Sony logo then turns off sometimes it just lights the back light for few seconds then shuts off called Sony looks like I'm sending it back. I tried the usual pc companion and global update no joy. So looks like it's going back 5 to 7 days return.
Anybody else got any issues with there's.

Hi there had same issue and solved it
Turn it on wait for Sony logo then push the power button
Three times wait one sec and again three times and one more
Time again this should do the trick but try to reset it and remove
All unsigned software and keep the original only
