Got mine yesterday from Sony Centre Nunawading Melbourne.
Black Xperia z
Chucked in my 64gb card and all set.
Mixing and matching the three covers I bought prior.
Nfc speaker coming next week or so and dock.

I'm not updating mine there are no issues with it.
Battery is amazing too lasting a day and a half give or take
So I'll wait instead for 4.2

Why don't you download the firware update, it is painless through Sony Companion, keeps all your settings and applications intact.

What are the differences?
Haven't noticed the phone disconnecting from the cellular network (big red X) when travelling around normal coverage areas.

Wifi connects first time without dramas, doesn't seem to drop out as bad.

Performance is definately better.

I am sure it fixes more things, but these are things that I have noticed significantly.

Can't download the update as it isn't available for telstra branded devices yet! That's why we need someone to upload stock au firmware :)

Created the file, and tested the restore using flashtool. Uploading now to uploaded.net, for some reason it is running a bit slow.
