The Sony Xperia E5 was first made available for purchase in June 2016. It offers a 5” 720P IPS LCD display, giving a pixel density of ~294 PPI. Processing power is supplied by a MediaTek MT 6735 chipset, which is made-up of a 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU, a Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 1.5 GB of system RAM. The E5 is fitted with a micrSD card slot, to allow further expansion of the included 16 GB of internal storage. The primary camera is capable of capturing images at 13 MP, the secondary at 5 MP. The 147g chassis is powered by a non-removable 2300mAh battery.
