It was doubtful that a major release like this will be put live on servers before a weekend....they need to be all hands on deck and if something goes wrong they would be able to pull the update asap....

I told you that saturday and sunday no update from sony. So maybe monday or tuesday
The update has error in cam and lagg when using fingerprint the restart. Very high ram consumption also.

I checked the XZ3. Still own SONY Dialer on Pie. But hey, we are on XDA. Root, Titanium Backup-> Remove Dialer-> Flash GApps. Done.
Sad the Update isn't out for us yet. I'm checking Xperifirm and Google since around 48hrs... Think ill just wait till Monday. Camera will also not work after Upgrading except if JanJan pushes a Pie Kernel with Fix for us...

for the wait hopfully tuesday sony will start pushing the update for some country
for the fix for xz premium not xz1 a little bit differant is like others dual A/B newer . but the fix is coming

It's not the 29th for many countries.
Also, when Sony released Pie for the XZ2, it started at 2 AM (CET). (It might begin in approximately 4 hours and 7 minutes (it's 21:53 PM))

Its funny isn't it? And as soon as they get it, all we are going to here is 'how do I root and get xposed working on pie'.

I got enough of root on my x10 mini pro, ion and Z3... Installed custom Roms etc. They were always slower than the original. ? If the times come when there will be no more updates from Sony then I'd root it. Until I get updates and able to install app updates, I don't need root I'm just needing my hot Pie when are they going to do something?
