Customized DE and TR 47.2.A.6.30
Customized FR is still on 47.2.A.0.306. Hurray ? I have to do a fresh install again... -.-

The exact answer is noway, you can't control it with side buttons, only media volume can be controlled via those buttons :/ I don't know why do you experience force closes while trying to use smart backlight feature. I think you'll need a fresh install.

In theory, it's the January security patch and nothing more. I don't know because I'm still on 47.2.A.0.306. Those f****** French carriers don't want to send the update out to their phones.

It doesn't matter if the carrier sent it or not in the case, that the XPZ is rooted... you must flash manual. If the FW available (Xperfirm) you can flash the version if you like.

I've paid for a premium device and I have to flash new roms and reinstall all my apps? That's not my job, that's sony's job.

If your Dev not rooted and not modded (like unlooked BL...) you received a notification and you upgrade without any issues. But keep in mind : every device runs much smoothly, if you make a clear install after change the major version.

Hi, what do you all think of the new Pie update?

What happens if, for once, there is a system update notification, it is being ignored and nothing done?

My first smartphone being HTC, then switching to Samsung twice, i don't recall getting system update notifications every now & then from the mentioned brands.
