Sound Enhancement Mod (AOSP & CM based ROMs)

All thanks to @chirantantab :highfive: now you can have great sound on AOSP and CM based ROMs (without wasting your time on MIUI anymore). He deserves all the credit for this mod, I have just prepared this flashable zip so that installing becomes easy.

As per members of XDA, it is working great on Official CM12.1. I have personally tested it on AICP and SlimLP ROM by bitti09. My Mi3 sounds fabulous now

Just download and flash it using your favorite recovery (I used TWRP). No need to wipe anything after flashing the zip.

I am not providing any uninstaller at the moment and may or may not provide one in future (all depends on my mood).
I really don't think that you would want to go back to those tiny-winy sound after using this mod. But in case you want to just backup the /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml file before flashing this mod.

Not sure bro, it might though. Don't have a Mi4 to test.
May be you can test it on Mi4 and let us know

As it is not tested for Mi4, you can just take a backup of the file (mentioned in OP), flash it and test.

The Ota from Cyanogenmod works perfect with this. And no heat Problems and no GPS Problems. Only Think I miss from MIUI is FM Radio

For FM Radio you can use the FM Fix in the General section of Mi3. Just follow the procedure in OP to flash the zip and enjoy FM Radio.

nope .... there are several mi phones and several HPS .... next day someone asked is it work on mi note/audio technica ,how many u made, ??? u'll be tired :laugh:
This zip is standard one ...just 0.1% change .... It'll be fine
May use the Enhancer zip or paste the mixer_path

Maybe the title is a little misleading, i compare the mod file with the none-moded one, just some volume values are increased, but the sound quality is still worse than miui or ivan's aosp. I'm using CM12.1 Official, notification sound latency or broken still exists.

Check ur Phone speaker/HP ,i think its already damage before,,,,
"just some volume values are increased"---yes! I know properly what to change exactly, ..... thats how proper gain and control works here !!! Changes everything ...ur sound will be dead...
I've 7 mi Phones ...........I tested each one with standard values ............ everything working fine here

Can anyone upload stock mixer of cm 12.1? I feel this mod broke my speaker and Bluetooth. Sound is more distorted and just brakes my speaker....

Just dirty flash the ROM what you are using, it will revert the mixer to stock.
