Tried OP file usuig TWRP recovery on rooted i9505. No luck. Installation is fine. However I don't have music option under settings --> sound. Also cannot find the App in the app drawer.

Btw what is the difference between Mod_stock and mod_headphones?

Thanks in anticipation.

Guys. Any thoughts or Suggestions to get this working? Do I have to use CWM?

Mod_headphones increases the headphones volume significantly, while Mod_stock brings it back to normal if you ever changed your mind which i doubt you will. Be wary though the BMSound app breaks your Stock music player, but all other music players like Google play music, poweramp etc works just fine. You need CWM to flash Mods

How did you end up getting this working? I'm having the same problem you had where it would appear to install correctly by no app would show up and no options under settings..

Flashed with this CWM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2238414 on my rooted i9505

Thanks
same situation here, no option under settings and no app in the drawer.... i flashed with twrp, installation went fine... please help, I can't wait trying my new studio beats with the right eq, stock eq sucks

For people who are using TWRP and the icon is not showing, I had the same issue and I unzipped the file and going through each folder under system, I manually copied the files to my device system folders. I then installed the dolby apk which is one of the two apk in the zip folder. And restarted qnd all working great. Even the stock player is working.
