+1...cant wait.Just checking for the 6.0.1 version, anytime soon? Thanks;
Its a sound mod. Not a custom rom.Wait so... Just to be sure I understand. This is a custom ROM from which you can't update which gives you front-end options to enable/disable and/or create routing options for audio playback? Why is a custom ROM necessary and why can't this be done simply with a rooted phone and ADB tools (nevermind that it's stupid these options don't exist in the first place)? I of course appreciate the effort and don't purport to know better; I'm just not clear as to the root of the problem trying to be addressed here and why the issue can only be overcome through this method.
This particularly interests me because with my phone, I have the problem where the audio distorts and doesn't go particularly loud, and it doesn't really seem like a physical issue with the speakers. Many have reported this problem and I wanted to give this a try to see if it could potentially resolve anything.
Finally, does this mod also work for the Z3 Compact or just the Z3? Some here have reported that it does but I'd be interested to know if there are things which would really be unaccounted for. In any case, I can't really try it until it's available for Marshmallow. Thanks in advance!
Ah, ok. Great. So loading this doesn't actually reset all my settings I'm guessing? I've never done this so I wouldn't know. I guess my question would therefore be, what can go wrong in trying to apply this mod? For example, what can get screwed up as a result of loading the current mod in Marshmallow, and what would happen to those who loaded it with Lollipop and then did the update? Thanks again!Its a sound mod. Not a custom rom.

Stop it. Its any wonder that the dev's here keep going with annoying posts like this ALL THE TIME. You know you can check the thread without asking for an ETA.Any Update for Marshmallow?

With this mod im not sure, but some Lollipop mods will totally break the sound ie: no speaker, no ringtone.
I use a different mod. Yes im on Marshmallow.I see.. Right, well makes sense.
Regarding the other posts though, I'm pretty sure the intent is to find out whether it's even to be expected in the first place. I guess I'd be curious if anyone has simply tried this mod as is on Marshmallow? I didn't really see any differences whatsoever in the sound where it matters and I don't think there have been any changes in terms of sound between the two versions of Android so I imagine it should be fine.
Since you're here, I imagine this applies to you as well and you would have otherwise done the mod already. Have you not upgraded to Marshmallow yet?
Oh, interesting. What do you use? And does it have the practical solutions described in this mod as well or is it more geared towards the purpose of like EQ and such (I guess I'd see upon visiting whatever relevant thread)?I use a different mod. Yes im on Marshmallow.
Edit: wrong thread, sorry!I see.. Right, well makes sense.
