If you do not want to flash, just unzip the file, and merge the media/audio folder in media/audio on your sdcard folder. No need to flash just to add the new sounds, only if you want to replace default once.

the touch and phone lock/unlock volume are so low, its there but I hardly hear it

Working fine here on Temasek and Euphoria latest 5.1 builds.

I backed up my media folder then just replaced the audio folders in them with these sound files, but I'm not getting any touch sounds neither any lock unlock sound. I've tried putting the original files back but still no sound. Only ringtones and notifications working. But i want to revert back to normal. Please help.

All sounds playing fine here after a clean flash of the zip at OP. Have you rebooted in between? Also which ROM are you using?

I'm currently on cos12s latest update(ok oneplus) i haven't flashed the file, just unzipped it and copied it to system>media>audio>(to respective folders) but somehow my touch and lock sounds not working at all, so i copied back the original backed up files to the respective folders and yes I've rebooted in between each step, still no sound. What should i do

You should use the flashable zip as it fixes the correct permissions of the files. So go to recovery and flash the file from the OP.

Okay I'll do that now, but can i revert back to original cm12s sound later and how.

If you haven't made a backup of the folder grab it from your ROM's zip file and paste it in my zip.
