Speaker dull after being submerged

Phone was submerged last night and noticed today that the speaker sounds dull .. Anyone have this problem before?

I'm hoping maybe it will dry out inside and go back to being loud again

Not sure if at&t will replace as I purchased it off eBay ..however it was new and I'm the first owner.

every water proof phone I had was like that should not take longer then a day to dry depending on how much water it seen
