Proper etiquette aside (hint: don't use speakerphone while doing your "business" in a public bathroom), rate this thread to express how you think the ZTE Axon 7's speakerphone performs. A higher rating indicates that you love it: it's loud and it's clear.

The front facing dual speakerphones are amazing. They can be very loud, more than any other phone I've encountered, and it's a great quality (for a phone and even more). But, I found that the atmos equalizer actually makes the sound quieter and less clear. Ironic.

How is viper4android on the axon 7. Does it make it better

It would make the internal speakers and bluetooth better but probably break support on the DAC for the 3.5mm jack.

I'm really shocked by this, as my Axon 7 is one of the worst speakerphones I've ever used. people sound fine to me, but almost without fail, people I call have difficulty hearing me. Doesn't matter if they are on the same carrier, a different one, or even a landline.

celticchrys, have you tried to walk around other place, I guess it's the place that block your signal. Or you can reset your phone.

Maybe because the speakers are good, you could be too far from the mic?

I don't find it that loud on speakerphone but on GPS it's quite loud. The sound quality is good.

It seems to happen whether I'm at home, work, or in the car. It happens on stock and on Lineage OS. Therefore, I've always assumed low quality microphone. It happened on my first Axon 7 (a gold one), and also on the current one (a grey one), which was a warranty replacement device, when the first one got broken.
