At 1.5ghz im still really happy with the desire z's performance. I manly use the device for web browsing so naturally I am excited to see ICS using gpu accelleration for web browsing. I think using opera mobile is pretty awesome, but can anyone speculate whether we will see gpu accelleration for our devices when we get ICS?

From the Android SDK site

All Android-powered devices running Android 4.0 are required to support hardware-accelerated 2D drawing. Developers can take advantage of this to add great UI effects while maintaining optimal performance on high-resolution screens, even on phones. For example, developers can rely on accelerated scaling, rotation, and other 2D operations, as well as accelerated UI components such as TextureView and compositing modes such as filtering, blending, and opacity.
So it sounds like whether or not an application will take advantage of it depends on the developer implementing it in their app.

The Vision does have a hardware GPU so we should get this nice new feature wtih ICS. I presume the stock launcher, browser etc in ICS will already have the necessary software support.
