SPenCommand supports Text extraction from cropped/full screenshots when them are done using appropriate stylus gesture. It's not perfect in text recognition as Samsung does, but it's the best we can get.

Version 1.2.35 is more than 2 years old....it was build for Android Lollipop 5.x and cannot work for newer versions. You need the 1.2.38.

Hi.

Im using a note pro 12.2 (sm-p900) and new to custom ROMs. Almost settled to being stuck with android 4 until I learned that I can still upgrade. Installed cm 5.1 and went up to LOS 14.1.

Now my Spen is just like a stylus. No haptic fb whennI pull it out. It does interact with the screen but as I read, will be needing extra steps to get Spen functionality.

Followed the steps except could not find superSU so used root checker instead. And cm spen link is dead so had to look and download it myself.

After installing and enabling cm spen (1 button enabling), you should be able to test if it is working by pulling out the pen and you should get a haptic fb. Mine wouldnt do that.

Also installed note buddy and configured it as instructed but when I pull the pen out, nothing.

Would really like function of spen back and appreciate the leads for this.
