Here's a boot animation and splash for any 480 x 800 devices
Basically, its a loading animation from Portal 2.

Installation:

1. Copy bootanimation.zip to the root of your SD Card

2. Move it to /data/local/ or /system/media/ and replace existing one using root explorer.

NOTE: Desire/Sense base phones push bootanimation.zip to /system/customize/resource/

Can you make the circle logo go around instead of lightning up? that will look kooler.
it's just a suggestion the bootanimation looks kool as is.

it's easy, all you gotta do it's search for that logo on google and animated.

Hey Mate

The boot animation looks different on the defy then the gif you posted here.

The Background is not black, it is grey.

I have no Idea why it is this way, but maybe some of you guys know it.

I am running CM7 on my defy.

EDIT:
I fixed it myself using Photoshop Batch functions.

I have attached the Bootanimation from the first post darkened and resized to 480x854

my droid is currently in a perma-depressed state(apparently skynet needed 50% smartphone market share to have enough power to boot).
can someone resize it for us optimus one/v/s users 320X480 i think

I have a Inspire 4G and downloaded original bootanimation.zip 480x800 moved it to the /system/customize/resource/ folder. Doesn't work, so what now? I tried renaming it to the folder ATT-bootanimation. All that happens is I see the blue Android name and it animates by flashing across the letters. Any ideas?
