Splash1 and Bootscreen Compilation!

Curious, can a video be used as a boot animation. i.e. pull a video off you tube to use?
someone can correct me if I'm wrong but you can't play video (ie a Quicktime or AVI).. I do know that you'd be able to take that video and export it as a PNG sequence and use that.

I am running CM7. If I want to load a custom boot is it correct to:

1. Rename file to bootanimation.zip and place in system\media

2. Rename audio file to android_audio.mp3 and place in system\media

Then reboot. Is this what I need to do to run custom boot with audio while running CM7?

I think u need to flash audio script 4 sound but rest sounds right, search themes section for sound script

Search bootflash on.the market. It's a tool which allows people to make and flash any picture as your splash screen straight from your phone. It works well for me and I'm glad I got it.

Works but puts a guy link right in the middle of your pic, would not mind if the link was on top or bottom.
