Splashtop and Splashtop THD

Splashtop works very well with Shield, but I didn't find a way to configure Shield gamepad as input. THD version which actually supports Android gamepads isn't yet available for Shield.

Is there a workaround to get gamepad working?

I used GameKeyboard with splashtop while running a PS2 emulator to play FFX and it worked fine. The hard part is configuring it properly.
