spliter usb 3.2 header for two ports in case

Hello everyone.
I have a "asus tuf gaming b550m plus" in a case "nzxt h 510 flow" and I want to mount the two usb of the box on the header of the motherboard 3.2 gen1.I thought I would use a "splitter Y" and an adapter "usb type E" to connect both to that header and thus use the usb c port. I'm not sure if it worked and I would like to know if it's possible.

It should work but might have varying levels of success. I haven't split a usb 3.0 yet, but I've split 2.0 and sometimes it works perfectly and sometimes things won't respond well or fully. It's one of those things you have to test out.
