Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
Seems somebody is joking here and/or have too much time. :D

If Watch is set for instance to XEF as active CSC...
Then this means France... and "France" have disabled Blood Oxygen...

There is an simple trick to identify the active CSC... by tap several times on Software ... in Watch Settings to enable Dev Mode...

Few hundred other ways also possible to identify the active CSC...

I can later add Screenshot...
Or maybe somebody else is faster...

This is disabled by Samsungs f%&ing Security...

Only if Watch is set to active CSC like:
Code:
XAR
KOO
DBT
.
.

Then Blood Oxygen is allowed by Samsung Security Policy crap...

Maybe by mistake in earlier Software Versions... Blood Oxygen was able to start...
But they updated their crap...

Best Regards

Nice tip to check the active CSC.
Once developer mode is activated you have to press the back button and then enter Software again, and scroll to
Software version, where now a 2nd line is showing with the CSC in the 3 last characters.

When you change region on your Galaxy Watch, it's downloading the CSC according to this change.

My Galaxy Watch 3 LTE was buying from France, to Samsung official website.

1 - After reset the watch, and choose Spain for region, and French for language, i see this ------>
2 - Download this 2 apps
https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1u6qpj4Qq4wXDXu6yla50_bji0bAi4naX
3 - Install SamsungHealthMonitor167.mod5.apk
4 - Install APK4TPK_installer_attempt_v1.apk
5 - Launch SamsungHealthMonitor from your Phone and setup ECG
6 - Check for update in Galaxy Store and Galaxy Wearable
7 - On your phone, go to Galaxy Wearable --> Widgets --> add Samsung Health Blood Oxygen (Oxygène dans le sang for FR)
8 - Save
9 - Go put on the Widget and follow instructions
10 - SPo2 work on every Watch 3 LTE

Thank you very much for your time, but does not work for me.
I have all the same versions you described before for softwares.
I have the same CSC, same as your picture.
Installed as new (i had deleted the watch from wearable and galaxy health), but i can still access to previous installation saves (apps, faces, widgets) and restore them.
BP/ECG work, but i do not get the widget for O2. I remember it used to show up long time ago...
Maybe an update of Wearables screwed it...

There's something blocking me, and dunno what.
I'll try to do it step by step tomorrow and maybe we can see what's wrong...

OK DUDES !
Thank you very much Schumi !
I found the problem, i understood wrong the "update in galaxy store etc". The updates were hidden in Wearable by smarthings popup.
I had updates in 'wearables' for samsung health (watch app) and it does the job.
Was so simple... i'm an idiot.
Thanks again ???

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4
Thanks for feedback. :good:

So IMHO similar solution like here described:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sm...xy-watch-3/gw3-software-missing-spo2-t4174199

Please, can somebody with GW3 confirm the latest Verion for today... Shealth on Watch?
@mafy31
@Schumi-GP

Please, need Screenshot from Samsung Health App Version... the Watch part.

A
Easiest Way from Store IMHO...

B
On Watch in Shealth also possible to detect the Version...
But again hide...

Seems this is Sams.ng Master Plan. Hide Disable Destroy User Illusion... :D

Tap several times on Help... to see Version without additional Tools...

Thanx in advance.

Best Regards

What is the firmware version you use for changing the region. I had the same issue even after changing the region to korea there was no spo2. From xda i came to know that we have to use the right firmware. Mine was ATF3 version. When i used ATG6 firmware while changing the region then i received an update and everything works fine. Hope this helps

Just received today my galaxy Watch 3 LTE ITV (i think TIM) and i'm on ATFB firmware (no update found). Is there a way to enable SPO2?

I read on Reddit that if I have a LTE watch I have to install e SIM on the watch in order to receive any updates, is it correct?

This thing is nonsense. I've checked my SpO2 on room air twice and got 83% and 74%. For those of you who don't know, with those numbers you'd be in the hospital and even maybe in the ICU for severe hypoxia.
I also have rather hairy arms, hmmm, wonder if that's affecting the readings.
I'll shave the patch under the watch and report back. BUt seriously, I'm not super impressed by this so far, LOL.

Never had such issue. Always above 95. Works very well for me, and if i overbreath, it increased the measure accordinly, means it seems rather accurate.
Make sure your sensor is clean.
Read tooltip how to position your arm (watch close to your heart).

Yes I do understand your recommendations. I'll retry and post back here.

But also think about all the times the fingertip light sensors are used. They utilize light thru the capillary bed of your nailbed , and it matters not where the finger is placed. I understand the GW3 uses a different technology but again, in my "real world" use of it, the two numbers I got were staggeringly off the mark. That's why my reason for caution in interpreting the data.

I will post back with my progress. And remember, while I'm a huge tech and (until very recently) Samsung fan, I don't mess around with health data, and that's my reason for caution with the GW3 so far.

OKey, I changed csc with netOdin, but question is it working only for samsung phones? or Am I able to do it on OnePlus as well? or need to go over it and install bp and ecg with signed certificates for other thread?
