That is up to you. I updated and was able to set it again. Others were not so lucky. As of now you can downgrade back to nougat if you don't like Oreo.Should I keep waiting to update? I really like this feature.

It's hit and miss still until the developer updates ShortcutMaster. You may have to just pull the trigger and do it. I have it working but have also had reports of others saying it doesn't.Any updates on 100% working? Still have not upgraded.

Who knows. I got better service when I updated. Worst is you update and it doesn't work. You can always downgrade for now.I know but I am scared.
I am starting to have even worse service though. I wonder if it is because I haven't updated? Or is it that Sprint is just getting incredibly worse...
Well guess what. I upgraded. However, it was by accident. I was pushing buttons on my phone and the screen pop up to upgrade. My finger hit install. I could of rebooted it really fast to cancel it out but I said hey why not. Let's finally do this. I mean I am sure they have it pop up like that to trick people into installing it. But guess what. It still works! I guess I am one of the lucky one!Who knows. I got better service when I updated. Worst is you update and it doesn't work. You can always downgrade for now.

You only do this one time and it works continually, making it not that much effort..uninstall shortcut master if you choose...hotspot still works
When I try this I get an error message. Su: not found. What am I doing wrong? I have a factory unlocked Note 8 on sprint. I don't remember not being able to use data on a call while using ST.enhancedLTE (not in IMS)
com.samsung.advp.imssettings.ImsSettingsLauncherActivity - launch it
IMS Service Switch - launch it
Enable VoLTE, and other functions you may want...note that RCS functions may break call and messaging...just remember what you play with and reverse it if you break something.
