@flastnoles11 if you're still keeping this thread up, I have three questions that I think would be a great addition to this list;
What is a bootloader?
What is a modem?
What is a kernel?
Lately I've read too many posts where these three things, and the functions of each, are thoroughly confused with each other.

I have a sprint gs3, and I'm in the process of moving it to page plus.
For some odd reason it won't talk to CDMA workshop no matter what. It's rooted and stock tw rom. I've managed to get the spc /sml code. And was able to connect it before.
All that's left is to update the prl.
Soft bricked it once and recovered, but now it won't talk to the programs I hook it up to.
Anyone have ideas? I've been all over Google about this already, but I may have missed something.

currently when dialing any numbers, I don't get anything, maybe the phone is messed up somehow.

If you haven't already, try updating PRL and Profile, and if that doesn't do it enter ##72786# in the dialer to reprovision the phone.
It has this hands free mode right now that seems to not work. There's no service on the phone presently.
I did get it working by updating the sid and flashing a new prl.
Quick question that maybe you could add. If I'm on nd8 what roms can I flash? I already know that if I'm on nd8 I can only flash nd8 TW roms. What about aosp?

Wrong bud... Common misconception, you can actually flash any rom you want... Just can't change bootloader (which ROM zips VERY rarely do and if they do it'll be noted in the op). Just don't downgrade with Odin and you can flash whatever you'd like
