So google and sprint announced that RCS messaging was coming to nexus devices with the newest update to the messenger application. That was November 4th. Here we are December 9th and I still do not have the option of RCS Messaging showing up on my nexus 6p. For kicks and grins I installed the new messenger app on my sons Galaxy S7 that's in the nougat beta program and he got the RCS Popup immediately after install. I have removed messenger. Deleted all data. Installed the latest release 7.1.1 of nougat from Dec 5th and still nothing as I was in the dp branch. Someone please help me. This is driving me nuts.
Anyone else with a 6p on sprint have RCS enabled? I have Uninstalled Google voice integration thinking thay was the issue. My Galaxy Note 5 is also not giving me the prompt for RCS.
