Has anyone been able to get working LTE on Cricket or Straight Talk?

I flashed my sprint galaxy note 3 to straight talk but after that i get no service.
I have the Sprint Note 3 working on Straight Talk & getting 3G & 4G on HSPA. Once the phone has been DSU'ed, you must be using an older modem, like MJ4.

And how did you perform this miracle?

How do you go about DSU'ing your phone? I already have my six digit unlock code from Sprint but don't know how to use it...?:(:crying:

is it unlocked or flashed?
Unlocked first. Then I flashed the MJ4 modem. Then I can add the Straight Talk APN and have everything working (voice, 3G, 4G).

Try following this guide.

I didn't use the above guide but the result should be the same.

What is the decryption key to unlock the download for the modem.

That guide requires an apk purchase in Step 2, and I'd rather finish doing it myself.

I followed a lot of steps in this guide

But it was for GSM, and I couldn't unlock the SIM. I did root (& tripped Knox), and my modem is now MI3. Hidden Menu shows a lot of promise, but I don't know what I'm doing in there and don't want to mess anything up. Are you using Straight Talk via GSM or CDMA?

I'm using GSM AT&T on Straight Talk.

So is there no one out there using the Straight Talk Verizon SIM/CDMA capabilities? AT&T and T-MOBILE aren't too reliable where I am.

And using Regionlock Away didn't fully unlock my SIM (nor was it supposed to?) so that's not really an option right now anyway

How did you go about flashing it to Straight Talk? Have you fixed your no service issue?

I've managed to unlock my SIM with the idoneapps GT.apks but no matter which SIM I use, I can't activate my Straight Talk service, either with AT&T or T-Mobile on the GSM side, or with the VZ 4G card on the CDMA side. I tried using a modified prl file, but I still can't activate. Any ideas, anyone?

im running straight talk sprint with 4g took alot of messing with service menu, dm, secret codes, test and data. but my service is choice was ltd, gsm, cdma, but i think what fixed it was a stock 4.4 rom put a non sprint sim half way in and then powered on. its tricky i know. then with a needle and push it in all the way after boot is complete then use needle to pull out sim put in sprint sim and reboot

If I understand you correctly, you were able to load a stock 4.4 rom and then basically tricked the phone as to which sim card you were using to get it to load the new/right sim's data or something to that effect...

Unfortunately, I cannot even try this method for two reasons: (1) I'm on Lollipop 5.0, and as I understand it there are no downgrade options at the moment; and (2) I'm not sure how your Note 3 is capable of staying powered on while removing the sim, as I have to remove the battery in order to change sim cards, and I don't want to damage the phone's mobo/micro sd card slot/sim slot in attempting to do what you did. It's beyond tricky!

So, since my initial post, I have managed to root my device (tripped knox, who cares?), and used idoneapps gt 3.18 to uicc unlock my device, allowing the use of other sim cards. My straight talk service still will not transfer from my S2 and activate on my Note 3. Their system has apparently accepted the transfer though, so what gives? Is there some other "Sprint thing" that I need to disable/remove before I can get some sort of Straight Talk service (either GSM/CDMA - prefer CDMA but I'll take what I can get at this point) on my Note 3?!?! ?????
