so i have a galaxy s3 l710 sprint flashed to verizon prepaid and i have never had a flashed phone before. the person i baut it from told me i couldent do factory reset or i would lose flash...
im a little nervous on what things will cause me to loose my flash if anyone could tell me what not to do please i would greatly appreciate it
also i keep reading different things about txting not working and having to download verizon messages or something called 8sms along with myverizon and more... im not shure what apps i will be needing for my phone if anyone can list the apps i will need please let me know
i hear i needa download a texting app, myverizon, buisybox idk what that is.. and someothers..
also is there anyway for me to backup my phone so if i loose flash i can back it up and get flash back im guessing flash can not be backed up cause its part of the hardware and not OS anyway my last question is about rooting and roms
i have rooted alot of devices and its been awhile since i have done any rooting like 2010 or so anyway i hear about a program called towelroot, is that ok to use and will it work?? if not what should i use and also i have never used a custom rom cause i dont really understand the benifits of them and im nervous about messing up my flash/bricking phone. Is a rom worth it.
