Anyone know of a way to bypass the 1Mbps limit for video streaming over LTE on Sprint. Everytime I "stream" a video I always get the low quality version while a quick LTE spark speed test reveals speeds in excess of 27Mbps.

I've realized this is mostly sprint throttling any video services that use Akamai as their streaming provider. You can test this by downloading either Hulu or Bravo apps and start streaming over LTE. The quality is around 1Mbps even though my LTE connection speed test shows 30Mbps down (in a Spark area). If I connect a VPN connection over LTE, the quality instantly goes up to full quality. I wonder if others have had the same issue?

Very interesting.. Sprints not suppose to throttle not saying they do not I would test more as far as streaming is on my end with reg and VPN but most VPN don't work with hotspot so don't use then
